There are four Professional University Examinations as follows
1st prof. At end of 2nd semester for Anatomy , Biochemistry and Physiology
2nd Prof at end of 5th Semester for Pathology, Pharmacology , Microbiology and Forensic Medicine & toxicology
3rd Prof Part- I at end of 7th Semester for Ophthalmology, ENT ( Otorhinolaryngology) and Community Medicine
3rd Prof Part – II at end of 9th Semester for Medicine , Surgery , G& O and Paediatrics.
In order to be eligible for appearing in the Professional Examination each student of MBBS programme must meet the attendance requirement both in Theory and Practical/Seminars / Presentations etc. as laid down in MCI guidelines. It is mandatory for students to have 75% attendance in both theory and practical and 35% Internal Assessment separately to be able to sit for professional examination.
