Deptt was set up in 1963 with few Specialized tertiary care of patients with Burns requiring Plastic/reconstructive procedures. It is now a self contained independent 101 bedded unit with all the ancillary services. Deptt of Burns, Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery is the Regional Center of Plastic Surgery and largest Burns Unit of the country LOCATION: Deptt of Burns, Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery building is located near the Medical Record Section ,besides the Blood Bank, Laundry & CSSR Deptt. OPD DAYS: Department runs Burns & Plastic Surgery OPD which functions from 9 O’clock to 1 p.m. six days a week and Maxillofacial OPD on Monday & Thursday.. REGISTRATION TIME: 9.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. O.P.D. ROOMS: Burns OPD - Ground floor. Plastic Surgery OPD – Ground floor.. Maxillofacial OPD- First floor. Burns Casualty- Ground floor
